This Everything Bagel Salmon is made with salmon fillets, mayonnaise, teriyaki sauce, everything but the bagel seasoning and baked to perfection.
The everything but the bagel seasoning gives the salmon a nice crust but stays so soft and a subtle layer of flavor. The added crunch provides a nice contrast to the soft butter salmon. It only takes about 20 minutes to make in total which makes this a great healthy weeknight meal. What is great about this recipe is that you can add any fresh vegetable toppings your little heart desires.
- Teriyaki Sauce

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Arrange the fillets onto the sheet.
In a bowl, add the mayonnaise and the teriyaki sauce and mix.
Spread the mayonnaise mix onto each piece of salmon
Sprinkle each fillet evenly with everything but the bagel seasoning.
Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Hint: Do not overcook the salmon. Baking time should be 12 to 15 minutes, tops.
Salmon: Using salmon is essential for this dish, the everything but the bagel seasoning gives the dish so much flavor.
Mayonnaise: I used regular mayonnaise for this. I absolutely love adding the spicy mayo for this (spicy mayo is mayonnaise and sriracha combination) if you like the spice, and if you can handle the heat!
Everything but the bagel seasoning: I love using a combination of sesame, pepper, and poppy that this seasoning gives you. If you prefer, you can simply use only sesame or poppy.
Teriyaki sauce: I love mixing in the teriyaki sauce into the mayonnaise. As I stated above, you can totally use sriracha if you prefer making a sriracha mayonnaise for a spicier version. If you don’t have teriyaki sauce, you can make something similar by combining soy sauce and honey.
Cooking is a chance to be creative! Have fun with it and feel free to make your own variation.
- Spicy - add sriracha into the mayonnaise mixture.
- Deluxe - use cream cheese instead of mayonnaise.
- Kid friendly - add flaked fish onto a taco with some slaw.

Equipment can have a big impact on how a recipe turns out. Stone bakeware takes longer to heat up than metal pans, and also retain heat for longer, which could make the recipe more watery, or burnt on the outsides.
