Bacardi Mojitos are a traditional Cuban drink which are made with Bacardi white rum, club soda, sugar, limes, mint, and ice.
When I went to Cuba in the summer of 2018, I spent the entire trip drinking mojitos and daiquiris. I had a mojito in Ernest Hemmingway’s home at Hotel Ambos Mundos, which is an awesome thing to be able to say. Okay, let’s be honest - I had a mojito at El Floridita, La Guarida, and Hotel Nacional! I had to, I was in Havana! Needless to say, this drink is so refreshing.
Mojitos are now thoroughly enjoyed in the United States and are so quick and easy to make. All you need are mint leaves, sugar, limes, club soda, ice, and RUM. Jack Sparrow would kill me if I forgot the rum. In place of club soda, you can use sparkling water. You can stir the drink so it’s not necessary to use a shaker.
I would highly recommend making these mojitos for your next happy hour or a day drinking scenario. It is a great way to get the fiesta going and is always a crowd pleaser!
This is such an appetizing cocktail. It is so refreshing and is meant to be sipped in the sun. It is currently 18°F here in New York, so I will just be imagining being on a beach under the sun! The mint gives the drink a nice kick. You won't regret making this!
