Description
This Easy Flat Lo Mein with Mushrooms and Bell Peppers is made with lo mein noodles, mushrooms, bell pepper, and stir fried.
Ingredients

Noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz lo mein flat egg noodles
- 1 pound sliced mushrooms, button or shitake
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
Sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Juice of ½ lime
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, light brown sugar, sesame oil, and lime juice.
- In a large pot of boiling water, cook noodles according to package instructions and strain the noodles.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the peppers, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook, stirring frequently, until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the sauce and the noodles, tossing to combine.
