Description

This Air Fryer Cornbread is made with flour, corn meal, sugar, baking powder, whole milk, oil and eggs. 


Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cornmeal
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, sugar, and baking powder until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, olive oil, and egg whites until well blended.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as it can result in a dense cornbread.
  5. Grease a round or square baking pan that fits inside your air fryer. Pour the cornbread batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Place the pan in the preheated air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry the cornbread at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
  8. Once done, carefully remove the pan from the air fryer and allow the cornbread to cool for a few minutes.
  9. Cut the cornbread into squares or wedges and serve warm.
