Description

These Tuna Patties with Panko (Air Fryer or Oven) are made with tuna from a can, red onion, chives, mayonnaise, panko crumbs, oregano, red wine vinegar and air fried to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (7 oz) cans tuna meat, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped Red onion
  • 1 tablespoons fresh chopped chives
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup panko crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the tuna meat, red onion, chives, mayonnaise, Panko crumbs, oregano, red wine vinegar, beaten eggs and olive oil and mix with a wooden spoon. Divide the tuna mixture and shape into a ball, the size of a ping pong ball. With your fingers, shape into discs. Place on a plate and repeat with the rest.
  2. Spray or brush top of patties with oil.
  3. For Air Fryer: Air Fry at 360°F, 10 minutes, flipping half way. Spray the tops again after you flip the patties. Serve with your favorite aioli and lemon slices.
  4. For Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake for 15 minutes, flip the patties, and then bake for 10 minutes more or until the tuna patties are light golden and cooked through!
