Description

This Panko Chicken Recipe with Horseradish is made with chicken drumsticks, eggs, horseradish, Worcestershire, panko crumbs, and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks, skin on
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons chopped dill
  • Optional: Tzatziki sauce, for serving
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, whisk the egg, horseradish, Worcestershire and salt together.
  4. In another bowl, mix the panko crumbs, garlic powder and onion powder.
  5. Dip the drumsticks into the egg mixture, then dredge the drumsticks in the crumbs.
  6. Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
  8. Garnish the drumsticks with dill. Serve with tzatziki sauce.

Notes

  • I love using chicken drumsticks with this recipe, although you can use any bone-in chicken like chicken thighs or chicken wings.
