A michelada is the most refreshing drink. The Michelada Ingredients needed to make this cocktail are beer, hot sauce, Worcestershire, Tajin, and limes.

Micheladas are super similar to a Bloody Mary drink, but this is a very traditional drink in Mexico. This drink is best enjoyed under the sun on a hot day and it is a great cure for a hangover.

Although Micheladas are traditionally Mexican, they are enjoyed in various countries all around the world. I spent a week in Chile during the winter in 2019 where we pretty much had a Michelada everyday - They are thoroughly enjoyed in Valparaiso! This was one of my favorite trips ever. I went with four of my best college friends and my childhood friend. We spent the first half of the trip in the mountains of Patagonia hiking Torres del Paine and the rest of the trip in Valparaiso. Valparaiso was awesome because we met up with my friend from high school and stayed with his friends at their place by the beach. We had so many of these micheladas during the day you wouldn't even imagine! You cant go wrong with this drink and a Snapper Ceviche with Popcorn and the beach. I love that Micheladas can be spicy. If you can’t find clamato you can definitely use tomato juice, as you would with a Bloody Mary.

Michelada Ingredients

  • Light Mexican beer like Corona or Sol
  • Clamato juice
  • Lime juice
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Soy sauce
